Happy Friday!

I hope everyone is enjoying this first truly snowy day of November.  I can't believe we have this much snow already!  It's too early!

Well, your children are having a blast at our Pajama themed PD Day.  We will share some events of the day with all of you next week.

I'd like to take a quick moment to give a shout-out to our EDP Supervisor, and artistically talented Salena Richard.  She will be selling some of her beautiful pieces during the Richmond Village Art Club Christmas Show, tomorrow Saturday November 17th at the Richmond Dining Hall (on Perth Street), from 11am-4pm.  All items are $100.00 and under.  Great opportunity to get some shopping done!

We are excited about a new event we are creating for our EDP parents and families this spring.  Hint!  It's right up Mrs, Richard's talent and hobby!  I'm going to stop here!  I'm not spoiling it - you will have to stay tuned to find out more, in the New Year.

Christmas Break Program Registration/Withdrawal Reminder

If you were interested in registering/or withdrawing your child/ren for our EDP Christmas Break program taking place December 31st, January 2nd, 3rd and 4th, please do so before December 4th, 2018.

Thank you for your ongoing support!

Change to Afternoon EDP Schedule

During the winter months, after St. Philip School afternoon dismissal, we will take our EDP program attendance and proceed directly outdoors to enjoy some daylight outdoor play.  We will have our afternoon snack and homework period when we return indoors.  This will be approximately around 4:30pm.  This change in the afternoon EDP program is for both the School Age and Kindergarten programs.

Missing Black Bog Rain boots

A pair of black bogs went missing during our afternoon EDP Program today.  Please check you children's boots and if your child picked up the rain boots in error, please return them to Mrs. Richard's office.  Thank you in advance.

November Newsletter

Dress for the Weather

With the cold weather around the corner, we ask you to make sure that your child comes to the EDP program dressed appropriately.  Hats, mittens, boots, winter jackets and snow pants will assure that your child will have an enjoyable time during our daily outdoor play time.

If your child is wearing boots to school, please make sure that they have a pair of indoor shoes to wear while in our program.  Children are unable to get into classes and portables during our program hours.  We do have a bin outside the EDP gym doors for children to place their school indoor shoes each day.  This is the responsibility of your child.

For your child's safety, they are not permitted to walk around the school hallways, classrooms or gym with only socks.  We need to make sure that we are ready for evacuations, should we be presented by them.  Thank you for your ongoing support.

EDP PD DAY Friday October 5th

We are so excited about our first PD day of the year, and spending the day with your children!  We decided to devote our first PD day to HALLOWEEN!  Your child(ren) is/are welcome to bring their costumes, but it is not necessary.  Costumes will be worn during our Halloween party in the afternoon.  Please do not send any accessories or masks, we do not want items to go missing or to be broken.

If you have any questions, please let us know.
